Paleo

The paleo diet was created to mimic what our ancestors ate some 10,000 years ago! Sometimes called the "Stone Age Diet," paleo consists of foods that could be hunted or gathered. In other words, these are whole foods, such as fish, lean meat, fruits, vegetables, and seeds. The philosophy behind paleo is that our modern diet is mismatched to our evolutionary development. Proponents believe that our bodies are simply not built to handle the kind of food we regularly consume, such as processed foods, grains, legumes, etc. Potential benefits of the paleo diet include: weight loss, better glucose tolerance, and improved appetite management. In this section you can find recipes that will help get your started on your paleo journey.
